In a great Youtube video by Stefan Mischook, he gives his seven habits for successful developers:
- Good documentation
- MVP, get your apps out asap to get customer feedback
- Be language and technology agnostic.
- What best serves the project
- Have coding standards: syntax, naming conventions, etc.
- Favor simple code instead of complex code.
- Use self-describing names to describe what it is.
- Good communication skills.
- Also, Understand Dev Ops and version control (eg Github)
